Hassan Sohail
Research Assistant

Hassan graduated with a B.A. in Biophysics and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University in 2025. As an undergraduate, they used computational modeling approaches including single-particle and rigid-body reaction-diffusion algorithms to study the self-assembly of biological complexes, focusing on clathrin coats and HIV particles. Hassan joined the Alushin lab in 2025, where they are performing computational analysis of cryo-EM data to visualize structural dynamics underlying mechanical regulation of actin assemblies.
